The IT guy says my PC is fine, but it is slow…the hard drive light is often lit when I am doing little…seems like I could use more RAM. I reboot at least once or twice a day. I typically utilize MS Outlook, a single industry-proprietary software and two IMs. I only have 32% space left on my main drive…IT guy says that is irrelevant. Anyway, I defrag, use window washer and a registry-cleaning software. Thx for your help and advice!

At home we are currently using McAfee and it has served us pretty well, our contract is almost over though and we will need to get another one, we have heard that although mcafee is good it’s not the best, what are good, reliable and of a good price for several computers? Is Vipre any good?

Are all registry cleaners avalable in download only options? I’d like to get the package/cd instead.

I bought Norton 360 and it said it had a corruption. The support didn’t help at all and now i would like to know if anyone knows how to download a free anti virus system or security. Or if you know how to fix this problem on Norton 360 please tell me. Thanks

I’m pretty much a novice when it comes to networking. I tried to delete and remove Spy Doctor all attempts end in shutting down all applications – then a blue error screen appears with a counter. At a 100 second count down my computer reboots. I also can’t shut off my computer it’s been running continuously since I downloaded the Spy Doctor beast!
1) I tried system restore to date my computer back a few weeks, but when I clicked to confirm the restore date my computer shuts down and that blue error page appears. After reboot I get a message that my restore point wasn’t saved due to improper shut down.
2) I tried Add/Remove in Control Panel( blue page appears)
3) I tied deleting from the “C” drive(blue page appears)
4)I downloaded SPYBOT which saw my FireFox browser as threat not the SPY DOCTOR!
5) I tried to remove from Spybot’s Add/Remove. It didn’t shut down and didn’t work either.
Does any one know of a specific software that specifically elimnates PC Tools Spyware SpyDoctor?
